Open Water Diver
Open Water Diver certification consists of Online Digital Training, Classroom and Pool Sessions with instructors, and Open Water Checkout Dives with instructors:
STEP 1 – ONLINE TRAINING & SIGNING UP WITH A DIVE CENTER
Start Learning – the programs are exciting with videos and animations. Test your knowledge with interactive questions. Add notes for discussion with your Instructor and track your progress every time you login.
To further your adventure and become a certified diver, you will need to visit Dolphin Dive Center and enroll in a complete certification program. DDC will have additional training materials and tuition that you will need to purchase. Our certification programs are held the first weekend of every month.
STEP 2 – CLASSROOM AND POOL SESSIONS
Step 2 involves the instruction in the classroom and skill building in the confined water of a heated community pool. It’s during this phase that instructors will coach you in the knowledge and skills needed to dive in open water.
Under the supervision of instructors, you will hone your newly learned skills and develop your confidence in the water, readying you to dive anywhere in the world!
Ready to start your next great adventure? To begin, you’ll enroll at Dolphin Dive Center and complete a short, informal orientation which outlines course objectives and safety standards. For class, we have already put a surface support package together for you, which includes mask, fins, snorkel, full wet suit and booties, all in a convenient mesh carrying bag. The rest of your gear will be provided to you from our extensive rental center, for the duration of the course.
Total price of Open Water Certification is three payments of $375*. That price includes digital learning materials, instructor fees, surface support package, pool rental, and open water checkout dives. Not included is transportation to checkout dives, meals and computer rental.
